Background Dům Dobra has long supported art therapy meetings with Ukrainian soldiers in hospitals in Ternopil, led by volunteer Olena Khmeľnycká. Through painting and creation, she helps patients with serious injuries, amputations, brain injuries or PTSD, regain motor skills, memory, coordination and zest for life. The meetings take place regularly, for more than two years, and during them, participants create their own works, often for the first time in their lives. The fund provides for the purchase of art supplies. Remember: “Even a small brush can be a big step towards returning to life.”
Фонд Dům Dobra For over two years now, he has been supporting art therapy meetings with the Ukrainian military at hospitals in Ternopil, held by volunteer Olena Khmelnitska. Through painting and creativity, participants with severe trauma — after amputations, brain damage, or PTSD — regain motor skills, memory, coordination, and taste for life. Classes take place regularly, and even for an hour, real works are created. The fund ensures the purchase of all necessary materials. Remember: Sometimes even a brush is the first step back to life.
