Background Dům Dobra has long supported art therapy meetings with Ukrainian soldiers in hospitals in Ternopil, led by volunteer Olena Khmeľnycká. Through painting and creation, she helps patients with serious injuries, amputations, brain injuries or PTSD, regain motor skills, memory, coordination and zest for life. The meetings take place regularly, for more than two years, and during them, participants create their own works, often for the first time in their lives. The fund provides for the purchase of art supplies. Remember: “Even a small brush can be a big step towards returning to life.”
